Advertising Advice You Can Live With

The main aim of advertisers is to communicate and influence the prospective customers to buy a particular brand’s product. Often they also advertise in order to improve the brand image. For this purposes every major medium and advertising tool is used to deliver their message. Some of the key mediums like television, radio, cinema, magazines, newspapers, video games, the Internet and billboards are used extensively.

Commonly, advertisements are seen on carts, airport, on the sides of buses, buss shelters, etc. Advertisements are cleverly placed at places where viewers can easily and regularly access visual, audio and printed information.

Mentioned below are some forms of advertising:

Advocacy Advertising: This type of advertising is done mainly for economic, political, or social issues. Advocate Advertising can be in the form of advertisement, message, or public communication. The aim of advertising through this medium is planned campaign to convince public and form their opinion on a specific issue.

Comparative Advertising: Comparative advertising works on comparison. One brand is directly or indirectly compared with another or even more conflicting brands. Major industries like airlines and automobile manufacturers these days use this technique.

Cooperative Advertising: Sharing is the key component here. Two parties share their advertising costs in this type of advertising.

Direct-Mail Advertising: Emails, catalogs, flyers, letters, and postcards are just a few of the direct-mail advertising options available. A lot of personal details are required to be known for this type of advertising.

Outdoor Advertising
: Billboards, wraps on the side of buildings, etc fall in the category of outdoor advertising. Outdoor advertising is extremely effective if implemented on busy located areas where a lot of travelers come and can buy the product from nearby.

Product Advertising: In this type of advertising, no selling of a specific product is done.

Point-of-Purchase Advertising: Incentives play a major role in this type. Promotional items like package and its presentation is done in a manner to attract customers so that they purchase the product.

Some Useful Advertising Ideas:

. Consistency: The message of the ad should be delivered in a constant way. Even style of business cards, letterheads of the company, envelops, etc should be standardized and not change often.

. Tools: Billboard ads can have the maximum impact when implemented with the right medium like TV, radio, newspapers, etc.

. Promotion: Focus should be on the benefits of the products rather than the features as it connects with the consumer’s emotional satisfaction.

Trade Show Tips For Event Exhibitors

I’m a huge fan of “best practices” benchmarking. I’m not alone obviously, but I’m always amazed when companies don’t seek out the best practices from successful companies. Here’s a handful of event and trade show tips from companies that have achieved astounding success (Nike, Reebok, Underarmor, etc).

1. Set a goal for your event or show. It’s not enough to show up, set up your booth and staff it. You have to decide what you want to accomplish well before the event or show. More PR? New product launch? Line extension? New marketing strategy? All of these demand a different strategy for your show. Set a reasonable goal and build your event presence around the goal.

2. Integrate your messaging. Your brand is probably visible in multiple channels. Make sure your show presence does as much as possible to leverage these channels. For example, put your URL on your display. Run an LCD with video clip that you usually host on your webpage. Think holistically about the messaging opportunity.

3. Differentiate. You need to do something to pull prospects to your booth. Think creatively. Consider a raffle. Add video. Hire extra staff to give your booth more traffic.

4. Activate off your booth footprint. Do something to pull traffic from areas outside your booth line of site. One company’s best ROI idea? They hired a few staff from an agency to walk to event venue clad in T-shirts with their booth number and a question mark. It worked like a charm  - people dropped by to see what it was all about.

Sure, these ideas can expand your budget. But there’s not much sense in attending a show and saving the last 10% of your budget that could actually drive traffic. Think about it – if you really wanted to save money you’d stay home. But you’re going to get zero ROI on this investment.

However you plan on approaching your next exhibit TradeShowsForLess.com can set you up with high quality trade show booths for a price that won't clean out the bank.

Orlando Event Advertising With Vinyl Banners

As the holiday season swings into high gear, more event planners and marketers may be looking for ways to get the word out about local events. A simple, cost-effective way to market your next local event is vinyl banner printing.

Vinyl Banner & Sign Printing
Vinyl banners are weatherproof and available in a variety of custom sizes and colors. Just one well-placed banner in a high traffic area can help provide information to a number of people who are likely to be interested in attending. Targeting locally can help to ensure your banners are being seen by the right audience.

What should your banner say? Beyond the obvious (event name, date, location), include a web address where attendees can go to find more information, RSVP to the event, and share it with their friends using social media. Including this simple call to action can help your banners do double-duty. Further, if your event is outdoors, be sure to indicate whether or not the plan is “rain or shine”. This seemingly secondary piece of information can make a huge difference should the weather not cooperate on the day.

Use your banner to highlight an incentive for guests to make the effort to attend your event. While the event itself may sound spectacular, include a small call out to highlight free gifts, door prizes, or other special offers you’ve organized.

Finally, consider the weather as a factor when you decide where to place your banners. While banners on sidewalks in the summertime attract the eyes of window shoppers and foot traffic, this may not be such an effective placement in colder months when your prospects are more likely to be driving.
Take advantage of PrintRunner’s 40% off savings on vinyl banner printing before 10/31/11 to get a great deal on vinyl banners to advertise your next holiday event.

Cafe Banner Advertisement Ideas

Convince people that your internet café experience is more enjoyable than logging on at home. And make sure you convince as many people as possible by using vinyl banners. Vinyl banners’ durability guarantees that your ads will stay strong and last long. Here are some vinyl banner advertisement ideas you can try out to market your café.

Cafe Banner Advertisement Ideas

 1) Use Artwork and Names of Popular Games

Attract gamers into your café by advertising the games you have. Keep on top of current gaming trends by asking your gamer customers about games they like playing. Maintain an updated game library, but remember to strike a balance between that and your internet café’s budget.

2) Offer a Free Beverage for Patrons who Stay 1 Hour

Give your customers more reasons to stay longer. You can also offer different freebies or discounts to customers if you notice customer groups showing up with different preferences. For example, a regular gaming customer may want an extra hour free instead of a drink if he has stayed in your café for three hours.

3) List the Business Services you Offer

Anticipate what services customers need and offer them in your vinyl banners. Go beyond what customers typically expect of internet cafés if you can. For example, technical computer support can be in-demand in your area if there is no computer repair shop nearby.

4) Announce a “Happy Hour” of Discounted PC Time Early in the Afternoon

Eliminate low customer traffic in the afternoon with a daily Happy Hour. People tend to stay put more in the afternoons, so you can use this to your advantage to attract customers who will stay longer.

5) Use a Banner to Advertise Gaming Tournaments with Fun Prizes
Sponsor tournaments with your regular gamer customers and attract more customers into your café. Familiarity will not breed contempt in these opportunities; the more people know your café, the more chances your business will grow.
